This class will be taught in person and will be limited to 5 students. Students must be fully vaccinated by the start of class. Proof of vaccination is required to register for the class.

In the Chunky Cardigan class, we will knit a small top down cardigan, and learn basic increases and magic loop in the process. The Nanaimo cardigan accommodates sizes XS-XXXL; for ease of instruction we will knit the XS/S size.
Required Skills: Advanced beginner. Pattern reading, casting on, knitting, purling, binding off. We will teach you everything else!
Purchase before the start of the class:

Nanaimo Cardigan pattern by Tara-Lynn Morrison,
- 5 hanks of Malabrigo Rasta
- 16" circular needles in US 13
- 24" or longer circular needles in US 15
- 24" or longer circular needles in US 19
- Jumbo stitch markers
- Purl string cords for putting stitches on hold and trying on sweater for proper fit
- Tapestry needle
Complete by first class:
- Buy your materials (anyone at the shop can help)
- Download your pattern
- Complete the ribbed neckline section
Class 1: Raglan increases. Homework: Finish yoke
Class 2: Separating sleeves. Homework: Knit body
Class 3: Picking up stitches for sleeves, magic loop. Homework: Knit sleeves
Class 4: Catch up, finishing, questions
