We will use your information solely to provide timely information about our classes.

Join author and designer Tanis Gray for a chat about her newest knitting book, Knitting with Disney, The Official Disney Knitting Book! She’ll take you through the process of what it takes to make an official book with one of the most recognizable brands on the planet, as well as share with you how to do one of her favorite techniques, the Latvian Braid!

Here’s your homework if you’d like to try a Latvian Braid during the Chat: Gather some leftover bits of worsted or bulky weight yarn in two contrasting colors and corresponding 16” circular needle or DPN’s. Cast on enough stitches (in a multiple of 2) to join the round for your chosen needles. Work a few rounds in garter stitch [knit one round, purl one round, knit one round], then [k1 st in Color A, K1 st in color B] all the way across for rnd 1. Because we have limited time, please don’t use fingering weight or something teeny!
