Have you ever struggled to achieve the polished finish you've always hoped for in your small circumference knitting?! Well, this is the perfect class to add an invaluable skill to your knitting skill set! Learn the tools, techniques, tips, tricks, and mechanics of Magic Loop, including why we use this technique, what tools are more helpful than others, how to switch over from a short circular needle to a long circular needle for working the magic loop technique, where to divide your stitches, how to avoid creating common mistakes in a pattern because of unintentional negative habits in your knitting muscle memory, and when (or when not to) employ these techniques. Together, students will work with Vincent Williams to demystify magic loop and walk away with the knowledge of how to use this technique with ease and confidence in any project!

Materials to have before the start of class:

• At least 185 yards of worsted weight yarn
• US 8/5mm 16” circular needle
• US 8/5mm 40" circular needle
• (4) stitch markers
• stitch stoppers (optional)
  

Homework to complete before the start of class: 

Using a US 8 / 5.0 mm 16" circular needle, cast on 48 sts, then join in the round. [48 sts]
Rnd 1: *(K2, p2) 3 times total, pm; repeat from * 3 times more. [48 sts] 
Rnds 2-10: *K2, p2; repeat from * to the end of rnd. [48 sts]

Class Policies: Payment guarantees your spot in the class. Payment may be made in the store, over the phone, or through our website. Unless noted, supplies are not included in the class fee. Yarn must be purchased at The Craftivist. Students receive a 10% discount on materials purchased for the class. 

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration, store credit will be given for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the beginning of a class; no refunds will be given if the cancellation is less than 7 days. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

If we do not fill our class minimum the class will be cancelled and students will be issued a full refund. We will notify students of class cancellations at least 24 hours before the first class.
