Fall Sweater Club - Bracken by Tin Can Knits

This fall we will be knitting Bracken by Tin Can Knits as a part of our Fall Sweater Club! Bracken is a timeless cabled vest, combining classic cables, delicious texture and a modern silhouette and designed by Tin Can Knits. Tin Can Knits is the collaboration of two Canadian designers: Alexa Ludeman and Emily Wessel. Known for their modern, seamless, size-inclusive patterns as well as their fabulous app that makes pattern reading a breeze, we think you fall in love with Bracken and all things Tin Can Knits! 

Fall Sweater Club is a guided KAL—part class, part KAL, all fun! This KAL will take place in person over twelve sessions through December!

The first session of this Sweater Club will be all about planning and SHOPPING! Please plan to pick out your yarn at the first class so we can help you calculate yardage and find just the right yarn(s) for the sweater you have in mind. 

Please note: This is not an opportunity to learn to knit or make a sweater for the first time. Check out our classes for our Introduction to Knitting and First Sweater classes.

Materials requirement:

Yarn for the KAL must be purchased from The Craftivist. Please feel free to wait until the first class to purchase your yarn. Students receive a 10% discount off all materials bought for the KAL.

FAQs

Are there prerequisites for the KAL?

Yes! Participants should have knit a sweater before.

What do I get for the registration fee?

The registration fee covers access to all twelve gatherings, and assistance from  Jennifer at those gatherings.

Class Policies: Payment guarantees your spot in the class. Payment may be made in the store, over the phone, or through our website. Unless noted, supplies are not included in the class fee. Yarn must be purchased at The Craftivist. Students receive a 10% discount on materials purchased for the class. 

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration, store credit will be given for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the beginning of a class; no refunds will be given if the cancellation is less than 7 days. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

If we do not fill our class minimum the class will be cancelled and students will be issued a full refund. We will notify students of class cancellations at least 24 hours before the first class.
