Intermediate Crochet Class: Free Yourself Shawl

Develop your crochet skills while making this beautiful shawl!  In this three week class, you will learn increases, decreases, colorwork, how to make a tassel, and shaping a triangular shawl. This class is suitable for anyone who knows how to crochet and wants to take their skills to the next level.  This is the perfect follow-up to our Introduction to Crochet class.

Prerequisite:  Students should know single and double crochet, slip knot and chain stitch

Purchase before the start of class: 650 yards of worsted or DK weight yarn, size I crochet hook, the Free Yourself Shawl pattern by Toni Lipsey.

Materials for the class must be bought at The Craftivist. Students receive 10% off the cost of supplies for the class. Pattern purchase is required.

This class will be taught in person and masks are now optional. If community transmission rises we may encourage or require masks for the safety of our students and staff. Please stay home if you are feeling sick! Thanks for your support and for helping to keep our community safe.

Class Policies: Payment guarantees your spot in the class. Payment may be made in the store, over the phone, or through our website. Unless noted, supplies are not included in the class fee. Yarn must be purchased at The Craftivist. Students receive a 10% discount on materials purchased for the class. 

Cancellations: If you need to cancel your registration, store credit will be given for cancellations up to 7 days prior to the beginning of a class; no refunds will be given if the cancellation is less than 7 days. Refunds are not given for missed classes.

If we do not fill our class minimum the class will be cancelled and students will be issued a full refund. We will notify students of class cancellations at least 24 hours before the first class.
