Knit Sweater Club: Kitsch Cardigan

Instructor: Vincent Williams

This class is a guided KAL (knit-a-long) — part class, part KAL, all fun! This KAL will take place in person over eight sessions on Wednesday nights from 6:00 - 8:00 pm starting October 7th!

Together we will make the Kitsch Cardigan by Sedna Yang.

Inspired by the clear and gentle atmosphere of the Nordic landscape, this cardigan features a pattern where starlight, tiny blossoms, and delicate leaves softly come together. The wide, relaxed V-neck drapes comfortably around the neckline, while small, charming pockets add both practicality and sweetness. Worked with soft DK-weight yarn in an easy-to-memorize repeating pattern, it offers a relaxing knitting experience you’ll want to savor stitch by stitch.

The result is a cozy, lovely cardigan you’ll find yourself reaching for every day.
For the most flattering and comfortable fit, this cardigan is recommend to be worn with about 10–15 cm (4–6”) of positive ease around the bust. Each motif carries a breath of nature―so that whenever you wear it, the breeze feels a little softer, and the day a little warmer. During this eight session class, Vincent will help you knit a sweater that fits your body, using your gauge, body measurements, and personal sweater preferences.

Prerequisites: This is an advanced/intermediate class. Steeking experience is not required, but students should have knit a sweater before, and have experience with colorwork.
