Taylor Swift album with yarn for Folklore cardigan

Taylor Swift Cardigan Club

Regular price $19.89
Join the Taylor Swift Cardigan Club! Fellow Swifties will meet on select Friday evenings for a time to “shake it off", knit, chat, and listen to Taylor’s music while the shop is closed to the public.
We’ll each knit the Folklore Cardigan (free pattern)! Kate, a one of our talented  shopkeepers/instructors will be there to DJ and answer all your pattern and technique questions along the way. (Note: There is a similar DK-weight version of the Folklore Cardigan that you could choose instead).

Not sure if you’re “Fearless” enough for this? We think that if you know how to cast on, knit, and purl, then YOU CAN DO THIS SWEATER!

As you follow the pattern (and with Kate’s help, as needed!), you'll explore knitting cables and buttonholes, piecing together a garment, basic increases/decreases, picking up stitches, and reading charts vs. written instructions. By the end, we think you’ll be a MASTERMIND at cables!
Yarn for the Folklore Cardigan must be bought from The Craftivist, but all members of the Swiftie Club get 10% off your purchase of materials! We can help you pick out materials beforehand, or Kate can help you make selections at the first meetup. (Psst...Kate is using Brooklyn Tweed Shelter in the colors “Puff” and “Old World”).
The single registration fee covers access to all eight evenings, and assistance from Kate.
On the final evening (Feb. 2), we’ll take a group photo to show off our finished objects. "We never go out of style!"  ;)
We'll meet on eight Friday evenings from 5-7 pm:
  • Oct. 6
  • Oct. 20
  • Nov. 10
  • Dec. 1
  • Dec. 15
  • Jan. 5
  • Jan. 19
  • Feb. 2

Please note: This is not an opportunity to learn to knit or crochet for the first time. Check out our classes for Introduction to Knitting classes.

This event takes place in person and masks are now optional. If community transmission rises we may encourage or require masks for the safety of our students and staff. Please stay home if you are feeling sick! Thanks for your support and for helping to keep our community safe.
