Elegant and refined, Fino is everybody's favorite.  It combines the softness of merino wool with the luster of silk in a lightweight yarn. Manos uses Tussah Silk for this blend,  produced by silk worms that feed on oak and similar tree leaves, rich in tannins that give the fiber a gorgeous golden tone and yield subtle, tonal colors.

70% extrafine merino wool, 30% silk
approximately 490 yds / 450 mts per 3.5 oz / 100 g skeins
Gauge: 24-28 sts = 4” / 10cm
Needle Size: US 3 - 5 / 3 – 3.5 mm
hand dyed

Care Instructions
Hand wash in cold water. Dry flat.

I am loving this yarn. Silk and merino. I purchased a couple skeins each of three different colors and going to go back to see what is left.
