The Octopus pattern from Susan B. Anderson has instructions for both a fingering weight and a worsted weight version. Both are worked the same, seamlessly, from the top-down. The legs are cleverly worked right into the bottom of the body so no extra finishing is needed. The fingering weight Octopus makes a great ornament!
